The School Day
Our school day runs from 8:35am to 3:15pm each day. The only exception to this is a Wednesday when we also run a Period 6 lesson and so finish at 4:15pm.
The school believes passionately in retaining a one-hour lunch break for all students. We run an extensive range of extra-curricular sports and clubs during this slot and it is only possible due to the full one hour being available. It is also important for students to be able to socialise with their peers.
Many students are often in school as early as 7:30am, or as late as 5pm, taking part in additional extra-curricular activities as part of an ‘extended school’.

8:35am – Tutor Time & AM registration
9am – 10am – Period 1
10am – 11am – Period 2
11am – 11:15am – Break
11:15am – 12:15pm – Period 3
12:15pm – 1:15pm – Period 4
1:15pm – 2:15pm – Lunch
2:15pm – 3:15pm – Period 5
3:15pm – 4:15pm – Period 6 (Wednesday only)
