We understand that parents applying for a Year 7 place for their child in 2024/2025 may not have been able to complete the required attendance at a place of worship for the TWO YEARS PRIOR TO APPLICATION. Therefore, for THIS APPLICATION YEAR ONLY we will accept the following as a minimum:
For the first year of attendance:
Attendance on at least 6 occasions a year at a place of worship associated with a religious tradition.
For the second year of attendance:
Attendance on at least 10 occasions a year at a place of worship associated with a religious tradition.
We will also accept 16 attendances over the two years, eg. 4 in the first and 12 in the second. As explained in the policy, this attendance should be evidenced by a supporting letter written on officially headed paper by the religious leader of the place of worship confirming the attendance.
For 2025/2026 applications will be required to adhere to the 10 occasions per year for at least two years prior to application.
