Meaningful Assessment is one of the key factors in moving learning on
(The Educational Endowment Foundation).
Our Assessment Policy aims to clarify how teachers at Coopers’ Coborn feedback on learning. It also explains the varying types of assessment that may take place in class and how meaningful feedback can help students progress in their learning.
Students will also have formal Mock Examinations in Year 10, 11, 12 and 13. These assessments will focus specifically on a student’s attainment aligned to their relevant exam board specifications and exam questions. These formal exams will contribute significantly to the summative assessments for students in these year groups.
All significant assessments that take place will be recorded in Go4Schools.
