The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School enjoys an excellent reputation locally and nationally. The School is designated as having a religious character and seeks to uphold the Christian principles embodied in The Coopers’ Company motto ‘Love as Brethren’.

Applications for Year 7 September 2026
Our Year 7 Open Evening for entrance into Year 7 September 2026 will be held on Wednesday 17th September 2025, unfortunately we are unable to offer any alternative dates for tours of the school.
Application Process
As well as completing your Borough eAdmission Form you MUST complete the school Supplementary Information Form. The deadline for Year 7 applications is 31st October 2025. Any applications received after this date would have to be considered as late applications. The application will be ‘live’ on this page on 18th September 2025.
Sport / Music Applications
Applications open on 18th September 2025 and the deadline for receipt is Monday 29th September 2025. Assessment dates are:
Music – Saturday 4th October 2025
Sport – Sunday 5th October 2025 / Call-backs Wednesday 8th October 2025
Arrangements for Appeals for Year 7 2025/2026
Appeal dates for Year 7 will be set after 3rd March 2025. The closing date for the receipt of appeals will be 20 school days from notification that an application has been unsuccessful on 3rd March 2025 (as specified in the School Admission Appeals Code: February 2021).

Please ensure you read the School Admission Policy before submitting your appeal. Year 7 appeals will be heard by an Independent Panel.
Once your appeal has been heard you will be notified directly in writing of the outcome within five school days.
Any late appeals submitted will be heard within 40 days of the appeal being lodged.
