Independent Learning Resources to Support Students

We believe passionately that students need to be taught and supported to learn independently and to make the transition from Year 11 to becoming a 6th Former.

As such, we offer:

A timetabled assessment lesson for every A Level subject once a fortnight. These are used for timed assessments, practice questions and pre-assessment work. These will take place in silent study conditions, set by subject tutors. This is to help students become familiar with the format of assessments in each subject.
Timetabled independent study sessions in our dedicated Learning Zone for our students to investigate their A Level content above and beyond the prescribed curriculum.
Before and after-school access to facilities and staff to help maximise the use of student’s productive time.
Bespoke support where necessary to help students work towards their goals or in the run-up to formal assessments
