As a Year 7 student
The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School enjoys an excellent reputation locally and nationally. The School is designated as having a religious character and seeks to uphold the Christian principles embodied in The Coopers’ Company motto ‘Love as Brethren’.
We have a reputation for being a School that cares for all members of its community. We welcome students from all backgrounds and cultures, we only ask that they possess inquiring minds and the enthusiasm and determination to do their best.
If you would like to appeal your school placement decision, in the first instance you will need to write to the Admissions Secretary with the student’s full name, address and date of birth. You application will then be checked by the School Governors and an Appeal Pack will be sent to you along with a letter explaining why your application was not successful.
Admissions September 2022
The Admissions arrangements for September 2022 are available to view in the Admissions Policy 2022-2023.
Unfortunately, due to logistical issues and after careful consideration we are unable to hold our annual Year 6 Open Evening in school. However, parents and current Year 6 students are invited to view our ‘Virtual Open Evening’ which will be available from 22nd September 2021. You will be able to view videos from key members of school staff along with videos highlighting our core values, information on our challenging curriculum, details of our outstanding extra-curricular provision and the superb support available through our pastoral system.
The decision not to hold a ‘live’ event has been taken as we must consider the health and safety of our school community and any students visiting from other schools returning to their primary schools and the wider community. We hope you understand this decision and we apologise for any inconvenience.

Please ensure you complete the acknowledgement card (with a stamp attached) for receipt of your application.
