As a Year 7 student
The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School enjoys an excellent reputation locally and nationally. The School is designated as having a religious character and seeks to uphold the Christian principles embodied in The Coopers’ Company motto ‘Love as Brethren’.
We have a reputation for being a School that cares for all members of its community. We welcome students from all backgrounds and cultures, we only ask that they possess inquiring minds and the enthusiasm and determination to do their best.
Appeals Process
If you would like to appeal your school placement decision, in the first instance you will need to write to the Admissions Secretary with the student’s full name, address and date of birth. You application will then be checked by the School Governors and an Appeal Pack will be sent to you along with a letter explaining why your application was not successful.
Year 7 2021/2022
For Admission into Year 7 September 2021 please view our ‘Virtual Opening Evening’ videos. Applications for Year 7 are now closed. School places will be advised by your Local Borough on 1st March 2021.
Sport / Music Aptitude Tests
All students who took part in our music and sport aptitude tests have now been notified of their ranking.
PLEASE NOTE :
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we understand that regular attendance at a place of worship may not be possible from March 2020 onwards. Therefore, we will accept letters from Religious Leaders stating that your child met the religious criteria commitment (as detailed on our Admissions Policy) from, at least October 2018 until March 2020.
Admissions Policy September 2022 – 2023
