The school is led by the Headteacher, David Mansfield, with a Senior Leadership Team of 4 – 3 Deputy Heads (Cath Peck, David Parry, Dave Threadgold), & Bursar (Steve Hogan). We recently established a new structure of ten Faculties and the Sixth Form, each with its own Director, and 6 Learning Managers to oversee pupil progress across the year groups.

     Mr Threadgold : Deep Learning: Teaching & Learning, Quality & Performance Management, Specialism Oversight & KS4
     Mrs Peck : Deep Experience: Pastoral, Inclusion, Student Services & KS3

The Directors and SLT make up the Faculty Board. They decide on Teaching & Learning strategies and ensure uniform implementation of policy. Their brief is essentially to monitor the quality of teaching and learning and ensure pupil progress is at least in line with expectation based on prior attainment data. All Middle Leaders meet termly in the TLR Team.

The School is governed by its Board of 22 Governors. The Chairman is Dr Ian Frood. The board meets 4 times a year and has four sub-committees: Curriculum, Personnel, Accommodation & Health and Safety, and Finance & General Purposes. In addition, a Strategy Group meets on an ad hoc basis. We also have a Board of 14 Foundation Governors representing the Coopers Company who own the site & buildings.
